New Moon comes out tonight at midnight..
I have three quizes tomorrow -I wanted to go -
but I'm far too exhausted.
I feel asleep last night at two, and then woke up at 4:30 and have been up ever since.- one of which is completely unrelated to the material learned in class.
- 50 vocabulary words to memorize - 50! :/
- And then there's math... BIG quiz. Which tanks, since I tend to space out and forget rules of exponents and logs. -.- So I'm pretty scared for my grade in there. I should be studying my ass off, but I'm so tired I can barely concentrate.
And dammit Alex! You need to fix my computer!!! It STILL has no sound. So I have to o upstairs &use the guest account of my sister's computer. Do you know how annoying that is?!
*ahem*
Anyways.
So we had this taste tester thing in one of my AP classes today -- my teacher brought a few students up to the front of the class and gave us a strip of paper with some kind of chemical on it. Within 5 seconds, if you don't taste anything other than paper, you're a nontaster. If you kinda taste something, then you're a medium taster--and if you taste something right away, you're a supertaster. Apparently, I'm the last one - a supertaster- and DAMN was that stuff nassssty! It kinda works like Gushers. You can taste the gummy immediately when you put it into your mouth, but when you bite it, it explodes and you get the full flavor.Anyways.
Well for this test, if you're a supertaster, you can taste the chemcial right away; however, you don't get the full blast of it until you move it around on your tongue, and then the ... flavor just comes gushing out. With that first swish of my tongue it exploded for me - it was so gross I wretched in front of the class!
Who, in turn, laughed at me -.-
well, come to think of it, if that happened to someone else I'd probably laugh too. I had to go run out and get some water. The teacher's stepson was there, too - he asked me what it tasted like. At that moment I couldn't tell him, because it was hard to describe. Bitter, pungent. But how do you describe such a taste? I couldn't think of anything similar until now, when I just had some coffee to keep me awake. That chemical tastes like the aftertaste of black coffee.
So I think my keyboarding skills are improving - for a while I was like eh.... I used to type faster... and now I type relatively fast (and pretty accurate!!) without looking at the keyboard! It's weird though, because I can see my hands moving out of my peripheral vision. Blech, speaking of vision, that's one of the things I should be studying now, but instead I'm making a blog!well, come to think of it, if that happened to someone else I'd probably laugh too. (black coffee = straight coffee. No sugar, no milk, no nothing.)
I have to make a mental note to tell him that tomorrow morning.
Why is this called a blog, anyway?
