My mother and I went to church today. It was an hour and 40 minutes long.. but it didn't feel like it! Saw a few people I knew, like Gabi, Pauline, and this one guy I met from club activities (his name slips my mind).

(Dad and my sister Laurie don't like going to church. Esp. Laurie. She makes such a fuss about it and she's 18).

SO anyways...

I got 2 jars of coconut flaked-milk chocolate covered machemdia nuts (<--favorite) and these bands that can function as either bracelets or hair ties. Super cute.


Well, I'll update as I go. I'm supposed to go to the beach... sometime.

EDIT: Went to the beach for a few hours with my mother -- Very relaxing. I even got a tan!

Not to mention somewhat even out my skin tone on my legs... now I only have 2 tones instead of 4.....

I'm wearing my sister's prom makeup on my face. I really like it. It has a nice bronzey background with a dark brown shadow.. it's really nice. Plus there's the light pink highlighting the cheekbones, and "Vanessa" Buxom lip plumper on my lips.. it's red lip plumper with bronze/gold undertones.

Ah, Darnit. Julian can't go on tonight. Bah!

I have to review chemistry and I realllllyyy don't want to.

AHH! I have to plan my bday party! (if it ever happens).

Like everything was on sale at Loehmann's. I was so happy! The LB bag was 60% off. I was like WOOO!!! I lovvveee Lucky Brand, but their stuff is just so expensive.
And they have great prices on perfumes as well. Like 30-40% off.

I'm starting to sound like an advertisement. Ha!

I also tried Smashbox's HD makeup... AMAZING. Expensive though.

And I also tried on the liquid blush thing...

that was pretty cool as well.

Like it would ooze out clear out of the tube, but as soon as it got on my skin it got BRIGHT hot pink, and then when I put it on my cheeks, it just completely washed out into this nice pale pink. So it's safe to say I had a blast today with my mom! (<-- ideal shopping partner. Lots of experience.)

We went to the food store on our way home... and let me say this, thank the lord I primped up at Sephora because right as I was leaving I saw the guy I used to like... I was just caught SO offguard. Ha, I said hi though :D His sister is really cute (she's like 6 or something) and his mother's pretty - real friendly too.

Ironic that he's so quiet...

or maybe that's just when I'm around him?

Oh well. Doesn't matter now.

Watched an episode of TruBlood with Mom when I got home.

It's (well so far) a show how vampires have made their existance known and how they're coexisting with humans in society. Their blood, if consumed by a human, is like Viagra.

No but really. I've been seventeen since 9:15 this morning. At 9:15 this morning, I was receiving a Swedish massage!! (Which isn't as erotic as it sounds. lmfao)

And then I got a manicure (which is already partially ruined). (<---is incapable of NOT ruining nail polish)

And then a pedicure. I seriously thought I was going to kick that woman in the face.

(Not because she was bad, or anything.)

I'm just SO unbelievably ticklish! And she kept using the scrub thing on my feet. I think I amused her. -.- (But then again, who wouldn't be? I was grasping the armrests for dear life while holding my breath every time she was going to use the scrub).

My mother's pedicure person (bless her soul) had quite a job getting those calluses off her feet.
I took a look over at the nifty device she was using and commented, "That looks like a CHEESE grater!"
Her reply?

"It is."

Okay! So. First blog.

What the hell do you even write in here?

Is it like a diary or just kind of a ..to-pass-the-time bs stuff?

Okay, well, it is what it is... so here goes.

I named my blog "by baby" because it's a play on what Alethia(bff) and I say to each other all the time. Everytime we part or hang up, we always end with "bye baaaaby!" so it's kind of homage to that. (<--did I use that right? I don't even think I know what homage means but it sounds right to me in that context.) (<----is an english geek.) (<----has a bad habit of doing (<---- ___) ).

Today is actually my birthday. I'm 17 as of April 10th. Does that mean I'm barely legal? Haha. I remember my sister once bitched at me because I had a glittery martini that said Barely Legal on it when I was 13. lmao. The hell did I know. I just liked the glittery martini!

My bffs threw me a surprise party... last week. (<-- they were going away this week, my actual birthday.)


And now it's 2:46am. My mother booked a mani/pedi/massage for me, my sister, and her at a nice spa today at 9am. (<---the spa package was a gift to my mom from my dad last year, but we never got around to using it).


And now I must go because my 5 years old cat Trixie is screaming at the top of her lungs all over the house looking for me to play with her, and she's going to wake up the whole damn house -- in turn, bringing attention to me being on the computer at quarter to three. Don't get me wrong, I love my cat, but she gets me into trouble when she does this kind of shit!
